GLOUCESTER COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER Kristine Quigley works with socializing the dogs prior to them being placed up for adoption.  The shelter’s adoption department is open Monday’s 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday & Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

An approved application is not required to walk through the kennel. Still, we do encourage you to fill an application out prior to arrival just in case you would like to meet an animal available for adoption.

Adoption includes spaying, neutering, all age-appropriate vaccines and dogs are heartworm tested and microchipped.

The shelter is always accepting volunteer applications to help care for the animals. Individuals interested in volunteering at GCAS can find an application here:https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/233/Volunteers-Fostering.
