The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Hilltown Township Police Department continue to investigate the murder of Canazaro, 48, and are asking for the public’s help for information.

Witnesses say two armed men entered the home in the 300 block of Swartley Road just before 10 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2013. They tied up Canazaro, his girlfriend, and his 12-year-old son and ransacked the home, taking guns, money, jewelry, and other items.

The woman and the boy managed to escape and call 911. When police arrived, they found Canazaro dead inside the garage.

The robbers fled Canazaro’s home in his truck, which was later recovered at the Quakertown Plaza Shopping Center. Surveillance video showed the armed men transferring the stolen items from the truck into a car at the shopping center and fleeing the area.

The getaway vehicle is described as a red, four-door Nissan sedan, believed to be a 2004 to 2008 Nissan Maxima or Altima.
