James T. Dunn Sr., of Bellmawr; Member of Local 19, Army Veteran, Rams Alum Class of 1958

Bellmawr – Surrounded by his loving family, on January 8, 2023. Age 88. Born in Gloucester City, NJ to the late Henry James Dunn, Sr. and the late Ann C. Dunn (nee Laux). Predeceased by the love of his life, his beautiful wife of 34 years, Margaret F. Dunn (nee Morrison). Loving father of Jim Dunn, Jr. (Becky), Karen L. Dunn (Ron), Linda D. Dunn and Maureen P. Ryan (Eric). Cherished grandfather of Jessica Dunn, Jimmy Dunn, Michael Dunn (Niki), Jasmine Nicholson, Kristina Brady (James), Emily Ryan and Christopher Ryan. Adoring great-grandfather of Zach Dunn, Eva Brady and Nora Brady. Beloved brother of Robert E. Dunn, Sr. and the late Henry Dunn, Jr. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as Cathy Foltz, who was like a daughter to him.

Jim was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School class of 1953. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. Jim was a 63-year member of Local 19 in Philadelphia, where he worked many years as an air balancer before his retirement. He was a faithful, devoted parishioner of St. Joachim Parish, where he made lifelong friendships with many. He was a dedicated volunteer for the church over the years from ushering at mass to any maintenance that was needed. Jim enjoyed his daily trips to Dunkin Donuts. He also loved working on cars with his son and watching movies with his daughters. Jim will be remembered for his funny wit, charismatic personality and how he always strived to be a better person and help those in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday morning, January 13th from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at St. Joachim Parish, 601 West Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM in the church. Interment will follow in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
