Phyllis W. Scott (nee Wright), age 97 of Milton, DE, formerly of Bellmawr, NJ on Dec. 22, 2022, with her son, Michael, and his wife Kathy, at her side.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert H. Scott in 1995 and survived by sons: Thomas L. Mixon of Lake Wales, FL, Raymond D. Mixon (Carole) of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Michael G (Kathy) Mixon of Milton, DE; a stepdaughter, Meredith S. Pillatt of Audubon, NJ, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Phyllis was born in Lancaster, PA, lived in Bellmawr, NJ, and then moved to Milton, DE. Growing up she became an accomplished roller skater and instructor and was more so an accomplished and passionate musician who taught organ and piano lessons for many years. Phyllis was a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star #277 of Laurel Springs, NJ and continued in the Order of the Eastern Star Unity Chapter #16 of Lewes, DE.
